Classes and Clubs


We're joining with ByAnnie to bring you a monthly pattern series based on the theme "Let's Get Organized!" Not only will you have useful projects to organize your home, work space, and car, but you'll learn useful skills and techniques to increase your sewing skill repertoire. Learn how to make your own bias binding, create zippers of any length by adding zipper pulls to zipper tape, cover strapping with fabric to coordinate with your projects, sew with vinyl, make mesh pockets, and so much more!

If you have admired all the cute applique projects, but steered clear because you weren't sure where to begin, then this class is for you! Kelly will give you tips for success and guide you through the process, step-by-step. You will be amazed at how quickly your machine applique skills will BLOOM! Machine piecing and rotary cutting experience required.

Join us every other month to make projects for Baby. From beginner to intermediate experience with sewing, you will find this fun class full of ideas and techniques for gifts or your own baby. We'll be making a changing pad and diaper/wipe quick tote (June) and a stand-up caddy (August). Club Fee $12 for each session

In this class you'll learn to make the same circle quilt made in Beginning Bargello - but this time, Barb will show you how to make it into the perfect skirt for your Christmas tree! Pick your favorite festive fabrics and sew up a holly jolly swirly tree skirt.

If you have an interest in Jo Morton fabrics and quilts of the 19th century, this club is for you! Join Susan Martin with her love for Jo Morton fabrics and her expertise in antique quilts. Come early to spend a day sewing if you like. Club fee $60 for six sessions. Pattern $24 for year.

Session I. Join Lisa Clark for lessons in hand embroidery and wool applique on the first Monday of every month which began October 2016. As a member of this twelve-month program created by Amy McClellan, you'll receive fifteen motif designs each month--a total of 180 designs!--to be appliqued onto wool hexagons. Get creative and embellish your hexagons using the embroidery skills you will learn in each session. You'll also receive two hexagon rulers, a monthly project pattern for putting your embroidered hexagons to use, monthly stitching guides, and a recipe to try at home.

Barb will bring a project she is working on and give you information about the types of threads and needles to use. If you have questions about a project you would like to make, Barb will be happy to help you. Fee for year is $30. 20% discount on featured patterns & floss.
