Classes and Clubs


Please join us for this gathering which meets every other month for fun, food, and sewing inspiration at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM on a Thursday. You will enjoy a presentation of new products, receive a free pattern and a recipe, and have the opportunity to win door prizes. We will top it off with show-and-tell. Those attending will be offered special sale prices on select items. There is no cost...just come join the fun and bring some of your own!

This round quilt is fun to make and easy to enjoy. It can be a table topper, baby quilt, or Christmas tree skirt. There are no limits to the ways you can use this circle quilt. It can even be appliqued to the top of a quilt for your bed if you'd like. However you choose to enjoy this unique quilt, Barb will show you how easy it is to make. You will learn the basics of construction and cutting blocks in the first session and then how to put the blocks together in the second session along with how to make adjustments and finishing.

Yoyos are fun to make and easy to do. But what do you do with them? In this class, we will look at all kinds of ways to use these unique little quilt blocks. We'll look at traditional ways from the past (quilts, towels, table toppers/runners) to some fun and different ways to enjoy these little morsels of delight (ornaments, pillows, quilts, and more). Join Lisa Clark for lessons in hand embroidery and wool applique on the third Monday of every month. As a member of this twelve-month program created by Amy McClellan, you'll receive fifteen motif designs each month--a total of 180 designs!--to be appliqued onto wool hexagons. Get creative and embellish your hexagons using the embroidery skills you will learn in each session. You'll also receive two hexagon rulers, a monthly project pattern for putting your embroidered hexagons to use, monthly stitching guides, and a recipe to try at home.
