Are you ready to take the next step in your journey to a rewarding hobby? In this 2-session class make a small sampler table-topper quilt while continuing to work on accurate rotary cutting, machine piecing, and quilt top assembly, plus learn short cuts to help speed up your quilt piecing. Sewing and rotary cutting skills or attendance at Basic Quilt Piecing class required.

Join Lisa Clark for lessons in hand embroidery and wool applique on the third Monday of every month, beginning January 16th, 2017. As a member of this twelve-month program created by Amy McClellan, you'll receive fifteen motif designs each month--a total of 180 designs!--to be appliqued onto wool hexagons. Get creative and embellish your hexagons using the embroidery skills you will learn in each session. You'll also receive two hexagon rulers, a monthly project pattern for putting your embroidered hexagons to use, monthly stitching guides, and a recipe to try at home.

Stitchery Club meets four times a year. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, bring your own project and perfect your embroidery. Barb will bring a project she is working on and give you information about the types of threads and needles to use. Strips of fabric and cotton clothesline are combined with your sewing machine to make a basket for any room in your home. We'll make a medium-sized oval striped bowl with contrasting colors in class - then see what else you can make with this technique.

If you do not think of yourself as an expert repair person or mechanically inclined, you will be pleasantly surprised to learn you can maintain your singer featherweight yourself! This is an in-depth hands-on class that most Featherweight owners will want to take to keep their machines running for years.

Continue working with Kathy on this quilt with plenty of applique to satisfy your love of hand stitching. Look for her beautiful sample displayed in the shop. The remainder of the year will be filled with good fellowship, lots of applique, and great discussions as usual. Applique experience recommended as this project is not for the beginner. Class meets on Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, & Dec. 11.

We're joining with ByAnnie to bring you a monthly pattern series based on the theme "Let's Get Organized!" Not only will you have useful projects to organize your home, work space, and car, but you'll learn useful skills and techniques to increase your sewing skill repertoire. Learn how to make your own bias binding, create zippers of any length by adding zipper pulls to zipper tape, cover strapping with fabric to coordinate with your projects, sew with vinyl, make mesh pockets, and so much more!

If you have an interest in Jo Morton fabrics and quilts of the 19th century, this club is for you! Join Susan Martin with her love for Jo Morton fabrics and her expertise in antique quilts. Come early to spend a day sewing if you like. Club fee $60 for six sessions. Pattern $24 for year. We will meet November 2 and December 20 the Fall term. This will finish up the year.

Join us every other month to make projects for Baby. From beginner to intermediate experience with sewing, you will find this fun class full of ideas and techniques for gifts or your own baby. We'll be making Soft Blocks from the book Winsome Baby in October; and in December the Self-Binding Receiving Blanket with Shannon Cuddle and Embrace double gauze. Club Fee $12 for each session
