In this class we will spend the year working with elements from Baltimore Album of Roses by Rita Verroca to make our own unique design. (Although, if you just want to make one of the quilts in the book you certainly may.) We will explore designing, whether it is a small wall quilt or a larger masterpiece. Either way, each quilt will be a unique composition, inspired by the wonderful patterns in the book.
In January's class we will be exploring how we can use the patterns in the book to design our quilts and work on creating our individual patterns. In February we will review your designs and talk about color and explore fabric possibilities. In March I will demonstrate various methods of applique preparation and stitching. A new supply list will be discussed for each following month.
