Prussian Blue Medallion - Kathy Delaney

In this continuing class, we will learn a variety of techniques: needle turn applique, cut-away applique, and hand piecing. Our project for this year, when completed, is about 40” square, and was inspired by an 1846 dated quilt featured in the book, "Hidden Treasures: Quilts from 1600 to 1860" by Kay and Lori Triplette. While the sample quilt is primarily blue and yellow, consider your own color palette. Notice, the border vine is all one multicolor fabric that determines the color palette for the sample quilt. $66 for four class sessions.

Project Linus Charity Sew

At Project Linus, a non-profit organization, they provide new handmade blankets to children in need. Their blankets are lovingly made by makers like you! Grab your latest charity project and come sew with us! Prairie Point is not a designated Project Linus drop off location. Though, during the hours of this charity sew, you are more than welcome to drop off your blankets to the Project Linus representative, Renee Comfort, for donation.

These are easy, beginner-friendly quilts that can help you use up your stash or jelly rolls that you have hiding for just the right occasion. This will be a go-at-your-own-pace class with the goal of finishing five different quilts by Christmas!
