Prussian Blue Medallion - Kathy Delaney
In this continuing class, we will learn a variety of techniques: needle turn applique, cut-away applique, and hand piecing. Our project for this year, when completed, is about 40” square, and was inspired by an 1846 dated quilt featured in the book, Hidden Treasures: Quilts from 1600 to 1860 by Kay and Lori Triplette. While the sample quilt is primarily blue and yellow, consider your own color palette. Notice, the border vine is all one multicolor fabric that determines the color palette for the sample quilt. $66 for four class sessions.
